ABOUT ACBM
The Association of Clinical Biochemists and Microbiologists of India (ACBM) is a distinguished organization comprising highly qualified professionals in the fields of Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, and related life sciences. Its members, holding advanced degrees like M.Sc., M.Phil., or Ph.D., are actively engaged in teaching, research, and clinical laboratory services. They contribute to the education of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students (MBBS/ MD) and life sciences students (BSc/ MSc/ M.Phil./ Ph.D.), as well as allied medical professionals.
Additionally, ACBM members play a vital role in medical laboratories, serving as independent lab in-charges or medical scientists. Their research endeavours extend to prestigious medical and para-medical institutions across India, often under the auspices of renowned councils such as the ICMR, CSIR, and UGC.
